Podcast is a very useful tool to engage audiences on different activities. At my post, it can be used to organize a group discussion, book review or sharing a piece of information of public interest. Our IRC is still in the process of moving to a new location, thus has not host any podcast event yet.

Thing 14: Online Video
"An Anthropological introduction to YouTube" shows us various aspects as well as the huge impacts and speedy transmission of this tool. A vial video goes vial thanks to its updated and quick interaction with audiences. Also its availability on the search engines. I found it's easy to discover a new video by just browsing related videos. Youtube may be used in IRC to engage our audiences. Videos can be about our IRC, our program or just about a successful events or a popular topics.
Thing 10: SharePoint
I posted my questions on discussion board and also read other's comments on it. I found it interesting and informative. We sometimes shared the same ideas while exploring the 23 Things SharePoint site.
